Every Thursday at Zin, we do a wine tasting of the weekly wine specials. You can sample the wine and then buy it by the glass or bottle. This week, we are having a double tasting: the weekly wine specials AS WELL AS a beer tasting with a Trophy Beer Rep. Trophy is a local brewery located right here in Wake County.

To add to all the fun, this Thursday is also… the Run Club Takeover!!!! Featuring a convergence of multiple local Run Clubs: Garner Run Club, the Bearded Bee Run Club of Wendell, Beer Run from Oak City Brewing in Knightdale, and Clayton Area Runners.

Some information for the runners:

This is the 4th event in the Run Club Take Over Series! Runners of all abilities are welcome. Staying with the previous format, we will have both 5K and 5mi routes going with pacers and sweepers for both. Will also mark the routes with signs at important intersections.

We will take a group pictured at 6:30 and venture out for the run shortly after. So, please show up by 6:15 so we can start identifying routes and groups/pacers before the photo. There will be plenty of parking in the area and we will provide more information on that and the routes as we get closer to the event. As with the previous runs, this is a Rain or Shine event. The only way we'll cancel this is in the event of extreme weather.

So, come out and enjoy a glass of wine or beer after the run at Zin Wine & Yoga and partake in a tasty meal from one of the local food truck vendors.
